New macbook coming out. (When?)

I am looking to buy a macbook sooner rather than later. How certain do you suppose this rumors declaring that it will come out in early/mid September are true?

The one thing I want to know, is will the Macbook finally have a Firewire 800 port on it?

I use lots of external storage and moving large video files around, hence my requirement for Firewire 800 speeds. Heck, with FW 3200 just around the corner, it would be silly to cripple the MB with such an old interface as fw400.

Hopefully Apple does the right thing here, I really REALLY don't want to shell out 2x as much $$ for the MBP just to get a decent firewire port.

You dont! last Nov. everyone thought a new macbook was coming out, it was a speed bump, so you really never know , I am not sure i loved my screen on the LED MBP i had so I bought now a new MB and love it, dosent mean if i love the new one i will not buy it. IF they come out.
