new macbook fan, is it noisy?

i like to have feedbacks from owners,
because in stores it seems to make no noise
but in my room it could be very perceptible.
Yes i work with audio but i use a macpro+motu828
for recording. The macbook will be on the same table
but will use for all other stuff, (mainly office).
So i don't really need the firewire.

I am very interested in these temperatures but most of all fan noise. So far it sounds pretty good .

Could you guys get some numbers? Use the istat pro widget or istat menu's to monitor cpu temperature and fan speed (both freeware).

Some situations I'd like to know:

• Idle
• After few hours of normal use (surfing, mailing, office, maybe something cpu intensive for a short period,...)
• Playing flash video's (youtube for example, video of a few minutes)
• 1 core at 100% (using the "yes > /dev/null" command in a terminal)
• The same situations as above but in clamshell mode flat on the table with external monitor

It'd be greatly appreciated.
