Hello there, sorry if this has been mentioned before. Here goes, anyway.

My friend just received his new C2D MacBook. He brought it to me so I can install boot camp and Win XP. When I began partitioning the Hard Drive. I got an error message regarding the hard drive.

I did a disk utility check and the message that I got is attached.

What should I do? Please, help.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Ah yes. You have to do it boot off of the DVD not while in the local OS X. 😀

Now you tell me. 😀

Finished installing win xp.

Finished Installing drivers.

Restart.

Followed by 8 (E-I-G-H-T) restarts.

Keyboard & mouse not working + Other non-working drivers.

Log in Mac OS X.

Remove Win XP partition.

Begin fresh installation.

Now I am formatting.

Wish me luck guys. 🙁

Slipstream your XP disc so you don't need that wave of Windows updates.

How do I "Slipstream" my XP disc? What do you mean by Slipstream.

Pardon me, but I am an idiot on these things. I bought an MBP to get rid of XP altogether. 😀
