Is this a big issue. Apple care ran some tests over the phone and my HD is dead. Need to drop off and have replaced. I hope the mozy back up worked? Is this a big issue? Is there a better option for replacement that warranty will cover?

Thanks

What's a mozi back up?

Dead HDD means they'll install a new HDD and you'll need to restore from a backup you made else it'll be just like a new Mac.

The only replacement that warranty covers is to have it done by an Apple store or an authorized ASP. If you do not already have a backup you are probably out of luck
