Rumours seem to indicate that Apple will release new Macbookpro and IMac models with the launch of Leopard in spring, but what about the Macbooks?

I’m hoping for the following in a new Macbook:

Upgrade to the new Santa Rosa platform from Intel with:
-Higher frequency Core 2 Merom socket P CPU
    -Intel Mobile 965 Express chipset
-Better graphics with either GMA 3000 or preferably GMA X3000
    -Choice of non-glossy display
    -Slimed down size (under 5lbs)

What do you guys think? Is any of this at all likely? What are you hoping for in the next Macbook?

Exactly what I am hoping for.. I hope they will release the Leopard OS soon and I hope they will be installed into all new Macs. My dream (and it is probably highly unlikely) is for them to release a Macbook that has the new Leopard OS as well as the new Santa Rosa chipset. Maybe it might happen or maybe not, but if anyone has any thoughts on what we think.. please post!

please note, MR is not a wishing well. Wishing for a fictional product does not make it real.

However if you really want that 12" Macbook I may suggest some of the following:

    1) Tap your ruby red heals together and say "there's nothing quite like a sub notebook, there's nothing quite like a sub notebook"

    2) Pray to Jesus/God/Alah/Zuez for Apple to release a sub notebook

    3) Wait till Christmas and go sit on Santa's knee and ask him to get the elves to make a sub notebook

    4) Have a feng shui master rearrange your house so that the cosmos will align and cause Mr.Jobs to release a sub notebook

I hope these tips help, and while your at it why not put some effort into getting the wide screen iPod, mid level tower and the return of the newton as well, I know some people are wishing for those products as well.

As far as I remember, Intel was saying that X3000 will not be available to mobile platforms (atleast for now).

Mobile counterpart is (santa rosa) 3000 without T&L & 3.0 shaders.
