i don't understand it either. why can't apple release a 13" version like the new 15"? i'm really disappointed.

MBP = 1024000 pixels
MBA = 1049088 pixels

Thus, MBP < MBA. The MBA also has a greater pixel density, which I imagine translates to a crisper display.
