It was hard to figure out which mac book to buy, like do i buy A new one or an Old one, then i started doing a ton of research from from 2011 up to the current versions. The whole "Dongle Life" AND Keyboard with the whole touch bar thing i was confused at until i did more research. After reading up for a few days I settled on a MID 2015 Macbook Pro off Ebay lol. Retina,500gb SSd, and the i7-4870 cpu amd R9370x (For World of Warcraft Classic) Mint Condition for $600 it did have just a lil delamination above Camera, took it to Apple Store on Sunday for a FREE Screen Replacement, didnt think they where still honoring it but they are. I seen on the paperwork the cost is $500. I really love the speed and all the connections too HDMI, USB, TB2 SD-Card. and it plays my warcraft classic on very high settings at 60fps. Not a scratch or nick on the macbook pro. Never owned a Macbook book but man does it feel premium and fast. i only have a Iphone and watch...Really thinking about getting a IMac now.. and im new here too..

I have the same model and paid $1,100 for it a little over a year ago and love it. You got the benefit of a big price drop after the 16 came out.

I had a 2014 MacBook Air base model that stopped working. I didn’t want to deal with the keyboard issues of the 2016-2019 MacBooks so I bought a 2015 mbp with your specs as well. I’ve been very pleased. Speed is still really fast, a big upgrade from my old mba. I’ll look at the supposed 14” mbp whenever it comes but the 2015 mbp might be the best bang for your money if you don’t care about usb c.

You did VERY well, particularly regarding the screen replacement.

A tip about the new display:
The display has a SPRAYED-ON anti-glare coating that is very fragile by nature -- that's where the "replacement program" came from in the first place.
Avoid touching it with your fingers, particularly when opening and closing the lid.
In fact, try not "clean it" -- only when absolutely necessary.
DON'T use any pressure when cleaning it -- just "dust across the surface" with a soft cloth.
If there's something that won't dust away, use a water-moistened cloth and ONLY as little pressure as needed to dislodge it. Then "dust dry".
