    Hi Everyone,

Just got my new macbook pro 15 inch i7. Am enjoying it very much but am worried i might have a dud battery.

I followed apples instructions on conditioning the battery as soon as I got the computer. But even after a full charge, the capacity still says less than 4hours remaining.

This is when i am doing internet browsing only with brightness as 75%

This cant be right. Can it?

How long have you had it? It usually takes few cycles before you get the maximum battery life

You get less battery live when your dedicated 330M is running instead of the intel HD check your system.

I had the exact same problem too, I deleted some of my startup items and cleared the title bar of any other programs like iStat Menu.

Now after three cycles and what I mentioned above I'm getting 5-6 hours at about 60% brightness and had a battery time remaining reading of 9:41 at one point.
