I burned mine yesterday at 22:00 and the price went back to $1154 after midnight
Did not get the RAM though. I think I will see how the machine performs with stock config then think about spending on upgrading.

I purchased the mbp with the ram but wasnt sure about one thing. I had seen in a previous post that you should buy 1333mhz and not 1066 MHz ram, is this ram ok as an upgrade then?

Amazon raised the price to $35. You can find it here as Crucial 8GB Kit (4GBx2), 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 Memory Module (CT2KIT51264BC1339). I'm pretty sure the memory requirements for recent Macbook Pro's and iMac's all use the same type of memory so you can use it for whatever model you have. 16GB is the max but is it worth the extra $170 to you?
