Bought a macbook pro 15" 6 core 2.2ghz i7 32gb 1tb ssd from adorama, but when started up and check storage hardware type it's showing "Macintosh HD" definitely not the 1tb ssd I ordered. Thought all the macbook pro of 2018 came with ssd? Please help..

That's just the volume name. It's still by default just called Macintosh HD. It's impossible for a 2018 model to have anything but an SSD.

Tony, since you are obviously a new computer / Mac users and there are a lot of tech words around these things...

The term "Hard Drive" or HD typically refers to data storage that is permanently mounted inside a computer. The term originally differentiated it from a "Floppy Drive" and more recently "USB Drive" or "External Drive" etc. Hard Drives (as well as USB or External Drives) come in various forms...some have spinning disks insides to store data, some have solid state flash "CHIPS" to store the data.

Rest assured your new computer has one of the fastest SSD Hard Drives you can getting a computer today.
