Should I return it for the new 15"? I bought the $1999 version last week and was wondering if it was worth the trouble to purchase the new one?

What do you use your machine for? If it's open you'll have to pay a $200 restocking fee. It's not worth returning if a new processor won't help you.

If he is doing an exchange, Apple store will most likely not charge him restockinv and just have him pay any difference.

I'd be more inclined to agree with you if he was exchanging between current models.

I hope they don't charge me restocking fee. But I wanted piece of mind so I posted and asked.

Backing up pictures, music, etc. now. I'm gonna get me a new faster MacBook Pro!
