New Macbook pro powersupply

just updated my old mac. I like the higher thinner design since I am suck in a hospital. The mag power cord sucks. Is there a better replacement that emulated the old design? It keeps dropping out.

There is an adapter that means you can use an old style MagSafe one but that may well be worse.
