new macbook pro screen hinge

does anyone here own both the previous macbook pro and the new one? i have both, and the screen hinge on the new one is a lot more loose then the previous version. i'm not sure if it is just mine or if all the new models are like this. for example, if i pick the new macbook pro up too quickly (while it is already open) the screen will open or close nearly all the way. it is certainly annoying and i am wondering if it is a problem or not. thanks!

Experiencing the same thing... gotta handle delicately or the screen shifts to open/close abruptly.
