New Macbook Pro Screen Lid

Is the new Macbook Pro ( unibody )screen lid plastic or aluminum? And does the Apple Logo light up like the older macbook pro's?

Thanks for the quick reply, it's good to know that the lid is aluminum and not cheap plastic. And I always loved the apple logo that lights up.

It would be cool if the logo was hidden, and then lit up like the battery and sleep lights. Of course that would never happen though
