My 2015 13" MBP has awful sound (compared to my 2014 MBA, which has a very "balanced" sound). There are no low frequencies on my MBP. The speakers in my MBP sound more like headphones setting on a table... all high and mid frequencies. I noticed it the first time I turned it on. The start-up sound had a lightweight sound. Not what I was used to listening to from my MBA. Now, I'd didn't directly compare my computer side by side with another one, but listening to the same bass heavy song (Often by The Wkend) on mine (at home) and another identical one at a local non-Apple branded "Apple Store", I could feel the bass vibrations on the areas beside the trackpad on the one at the store At the same loud volume, no vibrations on mine. No bass at all. I will eventually take mine it to directly compare it.
Now, this was a sealed unit I bought a month ago. If it is defective, am I more likely to get a brand new replacement from a real Apple Store as from a local Apple-authorized seller/services? I don't want refurbished.
