New Macbook Pro sold out in Scotland

    Until next week, apparantly.

    Apple store Glasgow sold over 70 yesterday. Glad I dinnae want one.

    Anyone else hearing about them being sold out elsewhere?

    Sold out in denmark aswell. Luckily i ordered mine online so i should get mine none the less :)

    Apple Store Southampton said yesterday that they were sold out until next week too.

    I had to get my one online anyway. The Glasgow store is about 4 hours away and I needed my student discount. Downside is that it will be here at the start of Noevember.

    Silly Scotland and it's lack of apple stores...

    Yes, whoever said that there might be a recession on the way? Still, it's an impressive consumer statement - at a difficult time - on the underlying strength (and attractiveness) of Apple as a product.

    I would have got mine from the Glasgow Store but since I'm exchanging this Penryn one for the new high spec MBP and dealing with someone at Apple then I need to do it online.
