New Macbook Pro - Useful applications

    Just ordered the base 13 inch macbook pro and I'm wondering what applications or software you have found very helpful and useful.
    Also, what tips and tricks are good to know because this will be my first mac. (I have used them a bit so I'm not totally helpless :p )

    For software I would use these ... Love them so far on my mac

    Firewall - Little Snitch (Even tho the mac comes with one built in this one is way better, its does cost $$$ however money well spent knowing your safer

    FTP - FileZilla Great free app ... Open source

    AIM/Yahoo/MSN/Google (Almost all IM programs) Free IM open source program. There is a beta version of for mac at this moment havent tried it yet
