New MacBook Pro & ZTE MF112 USB Modem issue

I'm loving my new MacBook Pro running Mavericks 10.9 os but have an issue trying to use the 3connect software & ZTE MF112 USB modem.

I've got the latest 3.0 3connect software but no matter how I try it won't detect the stick.

Anyone have a similar or the same issue?

I too have the same trouble, I was too naive to install the 10.9 on day 1.

It's not the dongle it's the 3Connect software, I spoke to someone from three the other day as I can't get it to work either. They reckoned that they'd requested apple to write a patch for it and it will be coming in a few days.
However I'm on pay as you go, and have a limited shelf life on my data usage, so if the updates not forthcoming soon i'll be requesting a refund.
