I have MacBook Pro latest 2013 15" Retina and I would like new one on next December, 16" for high performance.
What do you think ? It's good Time to buy new model because I read it will arrive M6/M7 ?

This December, we can expect M6. Next December should be M7.

Given M6 Pro/Max is being skipped, it likely means the M6 architecture has been deemed out of date or simply not good enough by Apple. Hence the need to speed up M7 release.

Wait for M7.

M7 with OLED display could be a big jump for a young technology, that is could be experimental step for buyers

Apple has been using OLED since iPhone X and iPad Pro since 2024. The rest of the industry has been using OLED in notebooks for years. I don't think there's much risk.

The best time to buy a new computer is when your old one stops doing what you need it to do well enough for you. If you are still on a 2013 your computing needs must be very moderate and I don't see how an M5 vs. M6 or M7 could make an important difference. Unless your computing needs are changing, but you did not mention anything of that kind. Heck, for "high performance" an M1 would run circles around what you have without breaking a sweat.

Not to mention potential further price increases due to the AI RAM/SSD nonsense.
That's certainly the wild card in this whole thing.

The thought process when dealing with high inflation is buy sooner then later, because later will be more expensive. That does fly in the face of if you can wait (to buy), then wait.
