I think HDMI is going to mostly stay for home entertainment purposes, DVI for computers.

HDMI 1.3 can support up to 2560x1600 something I believe, but no dual linking ;)

Most monitors have DVI and HDMI now....as we can use them for different purposes. I will have my Xbox 360 hooked up to it with HDMI and my Macbook Pro with DVI. :apple:

thats a wicked looking pic! even if its fake. Like the green lighting and the mba keyboard.

The next mbp might have more rounded edges and be slightly more thin in the front which is like the mba.

Nice prediction though....would like to see more

Hey, thanks bubble27. Everyone else is so negative..

Well the new NVIDIA and ATI desktop cards both support audio through the DVI port when used with a DVI-HDMI adapter, so I don't see why they can't implement on a laptop.

And it looks like the mock up is just a FW400 port replaced with eSATA. I'll keep my FW thanks.

Everyone is so negative, because it is obviously a fake. Like I said before, Apple is NOT Alienware. Also, Apple is never going to drop a FW port for eSata, when Apple invented FW. Please learn how to identify your ports. I'll keep my non colored Apple logo and my DVI and my FW thank you very much!
