Just picked up a new M1 MacBook Air from bestbuy. Of course it comes with webroot antivirus. Is this necessary? Didn’t think Macs needed it

No. I guess the bundle came with digital codes for webroot, 6 months of news and 6 mos Apple Music. I didn’t use the code since I already pay for Apple Music and thought the screw my services up

Webroot found a clone of my iMac that CleanmyMacX missed.Almost paid for an iPhone shipped to Texas! bummer So apparently it can happen.
