Hi All
I need a new laptop soon, and wondering if Apple will be coming out with a new Macbook Pro, or Macbook Air in time for the Holidays?

Thanks

No, not looking like it the only skylake chips suitable that have been released or will be released before the holidays go in the air and the retina macbook.

I personally think the air has had it's last update and will be slowly dropped in favour of the rMB, you'll have to wait until feb/march 2016 for pros

You know you can always check out the Buyers Guide up top. Its pretty helpful and you can get information on any machine.

Could they not bung some of this stuff in the Air? I know some people think the Air is on the way out but still I see a lot of skylake notebooks have been or are about to be released and nothing from Apple. I would think some of this stuff could even go in the mini without threatening the position of other models. I mean whether you like windows or not there is a lot of stuff coming through on the otherside of the line.

And apple have never cared less about that they'll wait until the better componenets they'd rather used are released and then produce their usual quality product instead of going for half measures because people have no patience.
