Hey all
I'm taking some time off MR at the mo because of some health problems and other troubles... but when I'm back, good and proper, I'll be back to take it out on all of you.
It's no less than some of you would want.

You tease, it probably will be a lot less than everyone wants.
Especially when you force people to take a number and wait for you to come back.
Just as a note to this; if anyone reads anything in there that you think warrants action, even if you think it's borderline or trolling or whatever... please just report it and whoever's around will read it and deal with it, if necessary.
Just because I occasionally hit-and-run in there, doesn't mean I'm going to hanging around reading everyone's polemics and tracts.
Reporting stuff is good, OK?
Yeah, I know, I just hate being one of those people. Most of us will report the really bad stuff, but despite all the objections, we're actually a little too tolerant sometimes to the madness. Some of us even get a kick out of the kooks sometimes. Like staring at a car wreck. Guessing you don't want us to report everything, that could get annoying real fast, but it'll be nice to have more of you to help out. Especially someone else that actually plays enough there to know what's what. Don't worry though, I'm sure we'll alert you to the good stuff.
Scary place, the nether regions of the forum... I don't envy you guys trying to clean up these melee.
Ah-hem. Not my problem that a certain unnamed mod had all the 'tars on the macrumorslive server (hence, it was using my older 'tar even after I'd loaded up the proper size). Hmph!PS. devilot, first job: change your rescaled 'tar.
And solvs, just 'cause I don't post as much in the PRSI or say, hmm, gaming forums, doesn't mean I haven't often read the threads.

Good luck you two! It's about to get very chaotic in here. The winds are already starting to pick up. By Friday it'll be like a hurricane, but I don't suspect it will blow through very quickly. The iPhone could end up changing the landscape for good here at MR...
