New Magic Mouse?

So I see that you can buy the new magic keyboard with touchID now. I'm gonna pick up the new Magic Trackpad as it aesthetically matched the new keyboard.

I see there is a new mouse too. Is there any differences from the Magic Mouse 2? Maybe better bluetooth???

It looks like the only difference with the new mouse is that it's usb-c to lightning instead of usb-a, and that it's $79 instead of $99. Unfortunately the charging port is still on the bottom.

True and some smaller changes on the design can't put my finger on it but it feels more round in the edges.

They did indeed round off the edges more. It's very subtle though.

Is the model number on the back of the mouse still A1657? If so, that should mean the mouse didn't change at all, right? Except for the USB-C cable.

hmm correct my device is the A1657

wish they would have released magic mouse with side button(s) or touch screen so you can use your big finger for touch click, scroll/precise scroll and second click/touch button on bent big finger

Well, it's so fast charging so for me it's not a issue. I can put it in the charger go and grab a cop coffee and then just use it again. And just keep an eye on the battery. Got 23% left now and I'll use it trough the day and then charge it during the night not a big deal.

may be using it while charging is bad for battery like getting hot and increasing in size
