New Mail have filters like gmail?

I've been saying for a while that I'd switch full time to the OSX mail app if it had threaded conversations and filters like gmail.

I can see one is coming, any news on the other?

Mail has always had Filters (well, at least since Tiger).

Its called "Rules" and can be set in the Preferences panel.

By filters, do you mean rules? Also, what kinda filters does Gmail have anyway?

No, there are no changes to Rules in Mail 5.
