New MBA 13' Default Brightness

How bright is the default Macbook Air Brightness? Mine is fully maxed, did it come like that?

Since it has no ambient light sensor, I would suppose Apple is putting it on max, so people, no matter under what circumstances they turn it on for the first time, can see something...

Why are you asking? Do you wanna check if someone might have used it before you?
