Would the new MBA be able to run PC Games at Low-Mid settings? I'm talking about games like Portal 2 and Battlefield 3. I'm really interested in the 13" Air because of the Pro's lower screen resolution. Thanks :)

Portal 2 - absolutely. That's actually one the games Apple mentions when comparing the performance to the older model MBA on http://www.apple.com/macbookair/performance.html.

Tested at native resolutions using Half-Life 2: Episode Two v(4295)(420) and Portal 2 v(4941)(620) with 4x anti-aliasing and high graphics quality. Half-Life 2: Episode Two timedemo test file: Storm. Portal 2 timedemo test file: Laser stairs.
As for Battlefield 3, this is a much more demanding game. I'd imagine low settings would be the only playable mode.

Well, gaming isn't a high priority for me as I have all 3 major consoles. What about video rendering? I do some minor editing in Final Cut Pro X and iMovie. Will that be terribly slow?
