There is a new MBA that would rock the world. Upgrade the processors and SSD, longer battery life, move it to iphone 4 OS, combine keyboard and touch screen, add 3G/WIFI, introduce stripped down but functional MS office for the MBA. Now we have a souped up iPad instead of a souped down MBP 13".

Yeah... that may be a direction it's slowly headed towards, but driven by Apple's need to get disentangled from the chip wars, Intel vs. Nvidia, lack of sourcing for small enough better chips, needed licenses that other parties can withhold, etc. ----- My theory is that Apple's tilting that recently-disclosed pie chart of $ towards the iPhone O/S products, partly for the PRACTICAL reason that they can do the design work better, if they have less snags from others. Suggesting: Yes, build upwards from the phone's O/S. Perhaps the 'Air' splits into 2 versions: The more basic iPhone O/S version, PLUS the more expensive ever-advancing Mac-based version (maybe just a bit heavier and thicker, if that's what it takes to have enough battery, 2 USB's, etc.)

And I want a super model as a wife, and maybe a couple of porn stars on the side- but what I want and what is reality are unfortunately different.

So take what you can get: C2D, 4gb of RAM and 320M graphics card.

Trust me, you don't want a super model as a wife - perhaps on the side but like a good computer, you want a 'low maintenance' companion as your best friend :D

The only thing a super model will make for dinner is a reservation!!!

Thats about the most realistic wish-list I've seen although integrated 3G micro sim would be a nice to have as well.

4GB Ram would get me back on the Air. (no pun intended)
