New MBP battery calibration

New to Mac. Had my MBP for 3wk. Getting used to OSX and enjoying the whole package.

Found these inst for battery calibration:

Seems like I read somewhere a less hands on approach. I'd like to play a CD repeadedly when I go to bed at night to run the battery down and then plug it back in in the AM. Any reason not to do that?

There's not much need in doing that, unless you want to listen to the music. Just let it run down naturally by not using the adaptor for a while, before commencing the rest of the calibration process. Also, there's no benefit in doing this too regularly, you'll simply wear out your battery sooner. Once a month should suffice. 🙂
