john and othersthanks very much for your patience with this, and your explanations. It makes sense for me to get the GPU, as you've pointed out. Maybe no need for it now, but for all I know, in two years one of my editing apps will be making use of it. (I tend to hang on to my computers for quite a while, so it really does make sense to look ahead like this).
