New MBP - First charge?

Hi all,

I'm getting a new MBP later this week, and I'm just wondering what the best thing to do with the battery is? Is it best to leave it to charge to 100%, or can you just charge and start at the same time nowadays?

Many apologies if I've missed some topics but couldn't find anything after some quick searching.

You could calibrate it, or just use your computer how you want as the battery doomsayers tend to blow the issue way out of proportion.

I just did what the instructions that came with my Macbook Pro said to do.
