New MBP. First issue...

A pic would be helpful. If it a really small gap its normal.

This has been an ongoing problem since the days of the aluminum Powerbooks. If you want, you can take it down to an Apple store and ask to have the top lid adjusted. I know my lid is uneven but since my computer is open the majority of the time, I don't give it a second thought.

It's absolutely normal 🙂 Many people have it, including myself. So, no need to worry, you have a perfect MBP. 😀

I have a gap. It's very common sadly.
