Hi all,

I noticed that on my new 13" MBP that when the lid is closed, the left side closest to the front (by trackpad) is ever so slightly raised in comparison to the right. You can see a bit of a gap in the corner. Anyone else notice that their lid is 100% flush. I noticed it while it was sitting on the table, so wasn't looking for issues. I don't want to return in case this is normal with unibody MBP's.

Thanks

I have a 15” model, but I have zero gap on mine. The rubber gasket makes even contact across the front of the laptop.

That doesn't look normal... I have a 2017 15" and my wife has a 2017 13"; neither have any gap along the front of the machine. The rubber gasket is flush with the front of the machine. I'd exchange if you're within the return window.

Good luck!

It seems it's just the corners. I may keep it due to the screen being relatively problem free on this unit. I've been through many that had display issues-especially with uneven white balance. This is the best screen I've seen from the bunch, and really it won't be noticeable. Appreciate you advice though.
