It seems we are going to need two dongles to connect a DVI display, USB-C to Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt to DVI?

USB-C to HDMI and USB-C to DVI adapters....You'll need adapters for all your commonly used ports.
Amazon has USB-C combo adapters that have USB 3.0, ethernet, HDMI, SD card slot and power all in 1.

Problem with these adapters and hubs etc is usually that they wont always work. I have tried several thunderbolt docks but ditched them because sometimes they wont work.
At least the new USB-C to Gigabit adapter from belking wont require drivers and kernel extensions.
