I am using my 11" mainly in Clamshell mode in two different locations, home and work.
It seems however the new MBP are not made for this, but made for direct use. Hence I am leaning to a 15" instead of 13". However, I have always found the ergonomy of working with a proper display and keyboard is way better. Ie screen is closer etc. Any ideas about this?
The cheapest 15" configured with 512GB of storage is 100€ more than the same 13". It seems the 15" gfx cards are quite slow anyhow.

What would it be an issue to work in clamshell mode?? They are no different to any other laptop.. you would lose the touch bar functionality of course but it would work no differently than what you have now.
