    Hello all,

Just wanted to say hi and that I've been visiting this forum for a while to get information. You guys are helpful and entertaining. My wife and I made our first MBP purchase from the Black Friday deals on MacMall. We got the stock 2.53Ghz MBP. I am a graphic designer and have been using macs now for over 10 years in my career. This will be the first laptop for both my wife and I as we always used desktops in the past. While I am a macaholic my wife is a Windows user and will be switching over. :apple:

Welcome to the forum, and congrats to your wife on switching; she'll enjoy the whole Mac experience hugely; congrats also on your wonderful new MBP; may both of you and the MBP live long together and prosper.

    Cheers and good luck

Ah, so you're prepared to be blown away by the increase in speed. That's good.
