New MBP - Pinch not working in iPhoto

I know it should work as it was working on the demo MBP in the apple store. Pinching working in Preview and safari but not on desktop for icons and iPhoto.

Please , please help

Please can anyone see for me if your pinch and zoom works(new MBP) in iPhoto (single photo) and desktop for icon resize... driving me mad as I really dont want to go to a Genius Bar if i can help it...

View all photos - i can pinch to zoom in and out and rotate.

View Single Photo - The photo just seems to fill the screen with no option to resize, but i can rotate. If i then go into edit i can pinch.

Desktop - No, pinch won't resize icons.

Right so the MBP in the apple store could pinch and zoom in single photo - also i believe that it should pinch and zoom icons on the desktop.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Someone suggested i should reset the System Manager and PMU?

Anyone - be great to know i havent got a dodgy MBP

I see the same as you, and got my MBP yesterday. Unless a picture is opened in preview or edit is selected in iPhoto then it doesn't seem like you can zoom in.

Appreciate... What about Desktop with Icons?

You know... unless i am going completey mad (dont think so yet)... the demo one was zooming on a single photo in iPhoto

You can "zoom" the desktop with the new MBP but it isn't a pinch. You assign a key to press I think default is control, then you two finger swipe up/down for in/out Not sure why they didnt' stick with pinch zoom

Nice one... 3 people who are seeing the same as me which is great.
Sounds like mine is OK... still can't explain why the demo MBP could pinch zoom on a single photo in iPhoto...
Oh well, i feel better for this.
