I just ordered a 15" 2ghz i7 MPB and it comes preinstalled with Snow Leopard. They sent me a disk with Leopard on it, but it is already installed on here. Do I have to buy Lion or do I qualify for a free upgrade? I am confused.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

I'm pretty sure you *should* qualify for the free upgrade, unless it specifically mentioned on the page for the unit you purchased that you don't.

    Try this link: http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/

Hmm that is interesting, I am writing this post from a refurbed 15" MBP that I just opened up not more than an hour ago and it came with Lion.

Maybe it was produced a bit later and already came with lion? I think all new MBPs shipped with lion after it's release, didn't they?
