New MBP trackpad stops working and Mac freezes?

I've had a new 2015 MBP for about a month now and in the past week it has frozen twice, including the trackpad, making it useless. I can not force quit or do anything. The trackpad is not at all clickable. I have had to cut the power to it. Is anyone else having this type of problem?

You need to look at the console logs to see what was happening when the computer froze.

I'd take it into Apple and have them take a look at it.

Did you restore it from a Time Machine backup?

I did restore it from a backup. How might that affect things?
