New MBP vs Old iMac

Hello,

I have a 2008 iMac, 2.42Ghz C2D w/ 3GB ram. I have been wanting to switch to a laptop for a while and have waiting for the MBP update. Now that its here, I am second guessing myself. Is it worth it to switch to the base 15" i5 MBP? I do a lot of audio recording and heavy use of Creative Suite.

Yes, 2.4GHz i5 is faster than Core 2 Duo and should help you in recording and
Creative Suite. 8GB RAM may be worth it, especially when CS5 comes

get the new i5 & turbo boost it with 6-8gb of memory...it should easily make the imac __________ 😀
