New MBP15" 8G RAM or 256 SSD

I am going to buy the high end MBP 15". The usage of the machine is mainly objectivC / Java / .Net programming. So I will install Windows 7 using Fusion as well. Could you experts give me some idea either to have 8G RAM or 256 SSD (if I get 8G I will get 128 SSD)?

I'd personally get the RAM. 256 GB SSDs are way overpriced right now.

I agree.

I would try with base HD and RAM and then upgrade if needed (very easy to do). 2x4GB RAM is ~350$ from 3rd party and SSDs depend on brand

Thanks Guys. I think I will get 8G. I got uni discount so the price for 8G is not that scary (AUD504).
BTW, hi-res antiglare for AUD189. worth a try?😕

DEFINITELY worth it! It gives you 36% more space to work on

i can see SSDs dropping in price relatively soon
