New MBPs: is the battery removable?

    Officially: no. Unofficially if you have the correct screwdrivers: yes. Check iFixIt.com for a teardown...

    If you consider "removable" as the need to unscrew 10 screws to open the bottom panel , remove a sticker then unscrew a couple of tri-wing screws ; yes it is , otherwise , it's not user replaceable

    So, basically, nothing changed from previous unibody generation?

    That's some good news.

    The battery is slightly higher capacity, other than that, no nothing has changed.

    If the user removed the sticker to replace the battery, will the warranty be voided?
