strange. I'm sure these are real. but honestly, if he took the time to take a few snap shots (Risking his job!) wouldn't he be a tad more excited to share more info? Why is he avoiding half of the questions and instead sending us jokes like the macbook wheel?

Um, he has already opened it according to the pictures. Open box is just as bad as open seal on the plastic wrap. If he wasn't supposed to do this (if it is true), then he is already screwed.
CORRECTION: He already has- he said he was prepping it for display and posted screen shots. It's as open as opened can get.

I would imagine it is Apple reseller policy to have at least 2 people present when pallets are being uncovered and both would have to sign.... not that it would stop a manager and an employee if they had the urge to peek together...

PLUS- he says he got the screen shots in the first post because he is "PREPPING FOR DISPLAY" which means, to correct BOTH of us- the thing has not only been taken out of the box AND plastic... but turned on and played with, too.
I am not "dermitdemmactanzt". Unlike him i was told to set up this new 13" MacBook Pro with the proper software (Office 2011, other demo software, setup Time Machine and DeepFreeze it) so it's ready to be put on display come the official announcement tomorrow. I long since have finished for today and will only be able to take more pictures tomorrow (unless someone is willing to pay large amounts for my "overtime").
I don't believe you. It probably isn't even legal for you to "prep it for display" before tomorrow. Nice try.
I'd like to see you walk into an Apple store launch day and all the people there are setting them up, Of course they would do it the day before and its definatley not illeagle

I just sold my Mid-2009 MBP 13 I guess this one is what Im getting hoping the price point is still the same..... Too bad no SSD standard... I guess my Intel 80GB G2 is going here...

Um- he works for a reseller. And even if it were Apple, they set them up before the store opens that day. And, yes, if they open them before Apple says so it wouldn't be illEAGLE, you are right, but it would be illegal - why do you think EVERY store is not opening them now if not? Some people...
