New MBP's this week, really???

Everything seems to hint at imminent refresh of the MBP's (and possibly other products) but it seems none of the press received any invitations to the event yet.

Will it be a direct launch only (website, store, tv ads) without an event?

So I'm thinking it will happen next week after this meeting thing. I mean non disclosure agreements? I don't think they'll do the Nda thing and let Mbp launch without Nda ritual.

There is strong indication that the whole NDA thing is not true. And the meeting is just a standard quarter meeting.

ex apple employees have been saying that product launches are more likely to be introduced to employees on the day of. These meetings are highly likely to be quartely meetings and/or about steve jobs status and apple's positioning with or without steve jobs

I really do hope they release it this week or next, been holding off on a mac pro for something more portable with the new chipset. 😀

Thursday claimed by several sources, all MPB models ship in 3-5 days in the Apple online store.

Pretty safe to say Thursday is the day.

You recon? But didn't they say on the front that they heard from reliable sources that the meeting and Nda will be taking place?

The NDA is not true. I know people who work for Apple retail locations and have asked. They have confirmed that they will have a quarterly meeting this Sunday though.
