Saw this over on the Mac Pro forums. Someone noticed that the little manual that comes with the new Mini shows an Apple monitor that as far as I can tell, doesn't exist (yet!).

So I guess we're looking at the new design of the next Apple display!

I don't think so, it's probably just a manual who needed a monitor as an image.

Does it resemble a monitor Apple would make? Yes
Does it conclude Apple is working on a monitor? No

Well Apple already said they'd be making a new display when they announced they were working on the new Mac Pro, so I don't think there's much debate that there will be a new Apple monitor.

From the article: "Also intriguing is Apple’s promise of a new professional monitor, which comes after its unexpected abandonment of the standalone display business in 2016."

I know they "promised" a new monitor and that they are working on it, i'm just saying that image is just an image which resembles a monitor for the sake of explaining things in the manual.

I really hope that's the new monitor as i think the iMac's borders are outdated and this monitor, equiped with a Mac Mini, is much more 2020 style

That screen is running 1024x768 if it is real. So I assume it is a mockup, which is vastly more likely, than being a pre-release screen.

In fact, if you zoom in, you can see the menu line overlaps the edges. So either they took a pre-release screen, doctored everything it is displaying on top (And made a really bad job of it), or, they made a simple rectangle, pasted a few quick components on top, and added a foot from an older monitor and called it a day. I know which is most likely.
