Anyone have the mk2 for a review? Theres a very limited number of reviews for the second version of the wooden cover, the MK2. So far, it seems Miniot fixed the negatives of the original mk cover.

I'm probably visiting the Miniot shop this wednesday and will take home a MK2 for review. I plan to shoot a little bit of video when I'm there (although they already told me I can't shoot too much because of secrets). I will use the pics and video I can make in the review of the MK2.

If you have a chance ask if they can bring that a 15% off promotion they had few weeks back or at least cut the cost big time on shipping to the USA.

I actually spoke a little with them today on the phone (to confirm me visiting) and it turns out they changed they way they handle shipping. For US it now seems to be $29 standard or $39 priority Fed Ex.
Looking forward to visiting this wood shop, they sound like nice people and their products look cool and I personally are really charmed by the combination of craftsmanship and/for technology.

So they lowered the shipping cost or do they plan too? I really want to order one but the shipping cost was way too much.

Shipping was $30 for a case for an iphone5, there's no way i'm doing that; but i'd love a case for the mini ipad as well. They are beautiful. I too will wait for a US distributor. I send them an email about it. I'll be watching............
