Picked up a new mophie today as my other one got stolen. I went to charge it and noticed that one light goes on and then it goes dark. I merely thought it was a bad one,took it back to Apple got a second one and the second one is exactly the same.
So I called mophie and got tech-support and they admitted that they had changed the protocol for charging a week or two ago. It now only lights up one light and then completely goes dead , so the lights are not bothering you when you're trying to sleep. But it's charging fine you just need to hit the button to see the charge rate. I told him that they should put that on their website and they agree. It's not even in their instructions that come with the unit.
