New 2.93 x 4 refurb just arrived yesterday, they gave me $50 off, so $2499, plus there was 2x2Gbs modules instead of the 3x1.

Maybe they'll be moving to 2Gbs standard?
 
Because it's refurb, someone have likely upgraded the RAM to 4GB himself but forgot to take it out. Sometimes refurbs come with nice surprises.
