On-line rating need to be taken with a dash of salt

In the above quote, you can say that "one quarter of all users gave it 1 star" but 1) 22 reviews is NOT all users, and 2) five people went back to the website to complain.
It is a long known fact that people who come back to say anything about a product are usually people who have a gripe. And it is also well known and shown from the numbers you see above that most purchasers of this product do not come back to rate it.
These are reasons why I don't put too much into ratings. Look for reviews where someone is willing to put his name with his experience.
