new parallels code

Hi,
I downloaded and am running parallels 5 with windows 7.

I used a torrent key to activate but would now like to buy a key and have a legal copy.

I know I can continue with what I have but I would rather go legit.

Is there anything I can do without ruining what is a perfectly good working system.

ie can I simply buy a license without uninstalling paralells (which is not easy)

Just buy the license and do not do anything else. Parallels got their money, and you got their software. If they ever ask you give them the purchased code.

Could do that but I would rather have the chance for updates & support.

You should be able to purchase a key which would give you access to support. They do trial keys (14 days), which are replaced when people buy real keys. So their software should support changing keys w/o having to reinstall.
